Denon PerL Pro earbuds promise first-class sound thanks to aptX Lossless and Masimo AAT

Denon has introduced its new true wireless earbuds, the PerL Pro, which boast impressive features. These earbuds utilize Qualcomm aptX Lossless technology to transmit music in CD quality without any loss. Moreover, the sound is intelligently adjusted to suit each user’s hearing thanks to Masimo Adaptive Acoustic Technology (AAT).

new true wireless earbuds Denon PerL Pro

Originally based on the NuraTrue Pro, the Denon PerL Pro underwent significant revisions after Denon’s parent company, Masimo, acquired the startup. Masimo is known for its ownership of renowned hi-fi brands like Bowers & Wilkins, Polk Audio, and Denon. The standout feature of these true wireless earbuds lies in the automatic adaptation of sound to each user’s unique hearing profile, facilitated by Masimo’s AAT.

The combination of Qualcomm’s Bluetooth chip with SBC, AAC, aptX Adaptive, and aptX Lossless support ensures top-notch sound quality. The new true wireless earbuds can compress music losslessly to approximately 1,000 kbit/s, allowing for CD-quality music transmission via Bluetooth 5.3. Additionally, they also support Bluetooth Multipoint. The 10-millimeter dynamic titanium drivers can accurately reproduce frequencies ranging from 20 Hz to 40 kHz.

Adaptive noise cancellation and a transparency mode are among the features of the PerL Pro, offering the option to amplify voices while blocking out ambient noise. With an IPX4 certification, the earbuds are resistant to rain and sweat. Playback control is achieved through the touch-sensitive surface on the earbuds’ exterior. The battery life of the earphones lasts for eight hours, extendable to 32 hours with the charging case, which can be charged via USB-C or wirelessly.

Denon PerL Pro price and release date

The Denon PerL Pro earbuds are currently available for pre-order on Amazon.co.uk at £299 and are set to be released on September 1, 2023.

In other news, Apple has unveiled the next generation of the popular Beats Studio Buds, now equipped with wireless noise-cancelling technology. The Beats Studio Buds+ has raised the bar for truly wireless earbuds with their active noise cancelling feature, compatible with both iOS and Android devices. They are competitively priced at $169.95.
