The Beats Studio Buds+ emerges as the best true wireless earbuds with active noise cancelling, offering compatibility with iOS and Android devices. With a refreshed design and, most notably, enhanced sound quality, it aims to rival the AirPods Pro (REVIEW).
The truly wireless earbuds with active noise cancelling retain the familiar look of their predecessor Studio Buds (REVIEW), with the option of a transparent casing for those who prefer a more distinctive style. However, slight modifications have been made, including the addition of three ventilation openings that improve comfort by equalizing pressure during wear.
The active noise cancellation true wireless earbuds feature three larger microphones, resulting in an impressive 60% reduction in annoying ambient noise. Apple claims that the transparency mode is twice as effective as before. Additionally, the Beats Studio Buds+ supports Apple’s acclaimed “3D Audio” virtual surround sound technology, allowing for an immersive listening experience. Controlling playback is as intuitive as ever, thanks to the touch-sensitive surface on the exterior.
Unlike the AirPods Pro, the Beats Studio Buds+ offers unrestricted compatibility with Android smartphones. Apple provides an Android app that enables users to adjust settings and update the firmware. Notably, these earbuds also support Google Fast Pair, Audio Switch, and Find My Device. However, voice control through the “Hey Siri” functionality is exclusive to iPhones.
