The company specializes in creating fully customized controllers and Joy Cons, ColorWare recently introduced a set of new Joy Con Classic for Nintendo Classic inspired by the NES style.
The ColorWare Joy Con controllers intended to Nintendo Switch however, it’s been produced in limited edition, and the price is quite far from the original Nintendo Joy-Cons, which usually priced at around $120, while these new NES Joy Con Classic will be available at $199.
A fairly high figure, but justified as the company works with traditional methods. The custom ColorWare controllers, in fact, made from the original manufacturer’s controllers, disassembled by hand, then painted. These controllers are equipped with all the functions available in the traditional Joy-Con including accelerometer, gyroscope and standard buttons.
The ColorWare controllers are in perfect NES style, and already available to buy at the company’s online store, but remember that the availability of these Joy-Cons will be limited.
To recall, recently Hyperkin has also announced the SNES Mouse, the device for PC that debuted in 1992 with Super Mario design. The new version is visually identical to the original mouse but will be equipped with fast optical sensors.
