LG has unveiled its latest G Pad IV tablet in South Korea. The all-new LG G Pad IV 8.0 FHD LTE tablet has been priced at KRW 429,000 – approximately $306 and will be available from local operator LG U+ starting July 4th in Dark Brown color only.
LG has also announced the Plus Pack has been priced at KRW 82,000 – approximately $69, which is essentially a tablet case that can be used as a stand and comes with external battery pack, speaker, and USB port. This new 8.0-inch LG tablet also features Easy-to-view mode, dual windows, knock on/ knock code, and the Plus Pack.
LG G Pad IV 8.0 FHD LTE Specifications
The biggest highlight of the tablet is it comes with easy-to-view mode that reduces eye fatigue by adjusting the blue light emitted by the display, has ‘Easy Mode’ by pressing Q button on the right side of the device, Dual Window and Knock code’ that turns on the screen when you tap the screen with your own pattern.
The LG G Pad IV 8.0 FHD LTE features an 8.0-inch WXGA (1920×1200 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 435 processor coupled with Adreno 505 GPU and 2GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB inbuilt storage and supports expandable storage up to 2TB via microSD card.
It is based on Android 7.0 Nougat and supports 4G LTE via single SIM card. On the camera front, the LG G Pad IV 8.0 FHD LTE sports 5-megapixel cameras on the front and rear. It supports Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and USB Type-C connectivity options. It measures 216.2 x 127.0 x 6.9mm and weighs 209 grams. The tablet is backed by a 3000mAh non-removable battery.
