BlackBerry Mobile recently released a short video clip related to the BlackBerry KEY2 on its YouTube channel, published as a tour guide to one of its latest flagship device. In about five minutes of a video clip, some of the most interesting features of this device are highlighted, a perfect combination for those looking for the smartphone with a physical keyboard without giving up on a touchscreen display.
The video clip focuses on some of the most important aspects, starting with design and extreme attention to detail. The frame is in fact made of 7 Series aluminum, while the whole back cover offers a texture that can increase grip in the hand.
Also worth mentioning is the keyboard, completely redesigned and with 20% raised keys to facilitate typing, combined with the SpeedKey function, where each letter offers a shortcut for up to 52 apps. The space bar also hides the fingerprint scanner, while the entire QWERTY keys can also be used as a trackpad.
The video tour continues, focusing on the pure hardware, such as the 3500mAh battery, can offer up to two days of battery life and the dual rear camera with super zoom function. Finally, the brief overview of the security suite offered by BlackBerry KEY2: vault protects any file from spying eyes through a fingerprint or password, but DTEK checks the security level of the device.
Blackberry KEY2 is now available for -pre-orders through Amazon, priced at $649.99 and will be released on July 13, 2018.
