The BenQ TK700STi is a high-resolution 4K gaming projector with a particularly short response time and a low input lag. That makes the model particularly suitable for video gamers.
Gaming on a large projector is not necessarily common, even if the particularly large display of game content can potentially be conducive to immersion. With the TK700TSi, BenQ is now addressing precisely this customer group.
The manufacturer aggressively advertises the input lag of only 16 milliseconds. If this information is correct, the TK700TSi should be one of the fastest and best projector 2021 – although the high resolution must also be taken into account. Specifically, the DLP system has a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels.
The brightness is 3,000 ANSI lumens, the contrast ratio is specified as 10,000: 1. In normal operating mode, the 240-watt lamp should last 4,000 hours; in LampSave mode, the service life is estimated at 15,000 hours. HDR10 is also supported.
The TK700TSi has a projection scale of 0.9 to around 1.08, at a distance of just two meters, an image with a screen diagonal of 100 inches should be projected, clear images can be generated with a screen diagonal of 40 to 200 inches.
Keystone correction is supported, which makes it easier to set up. Specifically, for example, a rotation caused in the setup can be compensated for. The Rec. 709 color space should be covered to 96 percent, a 5-watt loudspeaker is installed.
The system receives image content via two HDMI 2.0b connections. The 3.1-kilogram device supports Android TV.
