Cooler Master Mastercase EG200 expands laptop’s power with External Graphics card, SSD, and USB ports

Cooler Master has introduced a new Mini ITX EGPU housing that can accommodate a graphics card and connect it to a laptop via Thunderbolt 3. Apart from a lot of space and a lot of power, so that even a high-end graphics card for laptop can be installed, the case also offers some practical features.

The latest external video card housing from Cooler Master offers plenty of space, the manufacturer states that graphics cards with a length of 32.5 centimeters and a width of 2.5 slots can be installed – that’s enough even for many high-end models, even if not for the mighty Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090. A supplied Cooler Master V Gold SFX power supply unit with an output line of 550 watts supplies the graphics card with power.

The power supply is also used to charge a notebook connected via Thunderbolt 3 with up to 60 watts, if this supports USB-C Power Delivery, a cable is sufficient to add a graphics card for laptop and to supply it with power. A feature that is rarely found in mini pc external GPU is the integrated laptop stand, which holds a laptop on the right-hand side of the case to save space.
