The BenQ GV31, a successor to the GV30 (approx. $429 / £520.55), arrives with a series of enhancements that build upon its predecessor’s foundation. The visual aesthetics of the GV31 closely resemble its forerunner, maintaining its focus on enabling seamless mobile and wireless operations.

With a resolution set at Full HD, this LED projector employs an LED light source, rendering images with a brightness of up to 300 ANSI lumens. For dimly lit environments, the projector empowers a generous image size of up to 100 inches, while in brighter settings, a size of 40 inches is deemed suitable. The contrast ratio, impressively marked at 100,000:1, enhances visual depth.

Encompassing distances ranging from 80 cm to 3.20 meters, the projector ensures auto-focusing for achieving a crisp image. Meanwhile, keystone correction, accommodating deviations of up to 40 degrees in all orientations, guarantees geometric accuracy. Moreover, a magnetic holder permits a 135-degree rotation of the projector, enabling ceiling projections.

As for audio, the GV31 accommodates a 2.1-channel sound system, equipped with two 4 W midrange and tweeter units, along with an 18 W woofer. Powered by an integrated battery, the projector facilitates up to 180 minutes of video playback. In the role of a wireless speaker, it extends the playback duration to 300 minutes. The connectivity options include USB-A, USB-C (delivering power up to 65 watts), HDMI 1.4b, and a 3.5 mm jack output. Seamless wireless connectivity is established through Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Chromecast, and AirPlay.
