Alcatel OneTouch Idol 4 and OneTouch Idol 4S Leaked by Manufacturers

Last year, Alcatel had a series of new smartphone in the budget to mid-range segment including Alcatel OneTouch PIXI 3, PIXI 4, OneTouch Fierce XL and Alcatel Flash 2. Now successor Alcatel OneTouch Idol 4 and Alcatel OneTouch Idol 4S  have been leaked with powerful specifications as well as the affordable price.
Last year, the Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3 has impressed the market with decent configuration and a good price. And now the successor Alcatel OneTouch Idol 4 and 4S have been leaked to the manufacturer’s website (removed currently), although the company has not been officially announced but full specifications leaked to the website.

According to the information I read today on androidcentral, the Alcatel One Touch Idol 4 will own 5.2-inch IPS display with full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. It is energized by powerful Snapdragon 617 chipset clocked at 1.7GHz or 1.2GHz processor. It will pack in 2GB/3GB RAM depending on the version and 16GB of internal storage. On camera front, the handset sports 13-megapixel primary camera on the back and 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Accompanied the 2610mAh battery and Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
Alcatel OneTouch Idol 4S, on the other hand, it features a bigger 5.5-inch AMOLED display with 2K (1440 x 2560 pixels) resolution. An energy backed by the Snapdragon 657 chipset clocked at 1.8GHz or 1.4GHz octa-core processor. It comes with a 3GB of RAM and 16GB of native storage. The rear camera resolution is 16-megapixel and 8-megapixel front-facing camera. There is a 3000mAh battery and Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box.

We can see both the OneTouch Idol 4 and 4S are upgraded with more powerful processors compared to its predecessor. It’s likely to launch at the MWC 2016 event will held in this month.
