Acer, the Taiwanese manufacturer, has recently introduced the Predator XB323QK LV gaming monitor, which is almost identical to its predecessor, the Predator XB323QK NV, released earlier this year. Although it is unclear whether the new Acer gaming monitor incorporates a more energy-efficient panel, there are speculations surrounding this aspect.
The DisplayHDR-400-certified innovation has a 31.5- inch IPS panel with 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels) and promises a maximum refresh rate of 144 Hz. In addition, 10-bit color depth (8-bit + FRC), 400 cd/m² peak brightness, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 90 percent DCI-P3, and a 0.5 ms fast gray change. Two 4-watt speakers are installed as sound generators.
By utilizing FreeSync Premium technology, tearing in gaming can be effectively eradicated. Notably, the previous iteration lacked official FreeSync support and was only compatible with G-Sync. As for connectivity options, the monitor boasts two HDMI 2.1 inputs, a DisplayPort 1.4 (with DSC), a USB 3.0 hub, a headphone output, and USB-C with DisplayPort alternate mode and 65-watt PD. Additionally, the new Predator monitor comes equipped with a KVM switch, ensuring seamless switching between multiple devices.
The Acer XB323QK LV can be tilted, rotated, adjusted in height, pivoted, or mounted on a wall or a swivel arm using a VESA mount (100 x 100 mm). A blue light filter and a flicker-free backlight are also available.
