7Artisans will soon release a new 12mm T2.9 “Vision” full-frame wide-angle cine lens, complementing the already existing Vision 25/35/50mm T1.05, as the company announced on one of the social networks.
According to the developer, the 7artisans 12mm T2.9 provides excellent distortion control and a viewing angle of 100 °. Plus, a minimum focusing distance of 14cm gives you more creative options. The rotation angle of the focus ring is 270° for more accurate and precise focusing.
The design of the 7Artisans Vision 12mm T2.9 has 12 elements in 10 groups and a 9-blade diaphragm.
The lens will be released for Sony E, MFT, Fujifilm X, Canon RF, Nikon Z, and L-mount mounts. Its dimensions are Ø85×69 mm, and it weighs 602 g.

The new 7artisans wide angle cine lens is already listed on the Amazon.com store at $319 for Sony E mount, Fuji X, and Micro Four Thirds cameras. 7Artisans does not announce the exact timing of the announcement.
Last week, Artisans introduced a compact and affordable 7artisans 4mm F2.8 fisheye lens for cameras with APS-C sensors and Sony E, Fujifilm X, Canon EF-M, and Micro Four Third mounts. With a 225° field of view, the new lens can capture a full 360° panoramic image in just a few shots.
The lens is already available for purchase on the Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk websites for $149 / £156.
