7Artisans 4mm F2.8 Fisheye lens now available on Amazon

Artisans has introduced a compact and affordable 7artisans 4mm F2.8 fisheye lens for cameras with APS-C sensors and Sony E, Fujifilm X, Canon EF-M, and Micro Four Third mounts. With a 225° field of view, the new lens can capture a full 360° panoramic image in just a few shots.

The lens weighs only about 200g, making it extremely lightweight and allowing photographers to take extraordinary creative shots.

The optical design of the lens includes 10 glass elements in 8 groups. The closest focusing distance is 0.085m/3.34 inches. The camera lens is made of metal and has a smooth and good touch feeling.

The lens is also marketed as a drone optic and can be attached to DJI Inspire X5 cameras for a unique visual perspective.

Price and availability

The lens is already available for purchase on the Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk websites for $149 / £156.

7Artisans recently announced three Spectrum full-frame Photoelectric sensor cine lenses for Sony E, Leica L, Nikon Z, and Canon RF mounts. The Spectrum series includes 7artisans Photoelectric 35mm T2.0, 50mm T2.0, and 85mm T2.0 lenses.

Talking about fish eye lenses, Meike also introduced the 7.5mm F2.8 fisheye lens for MFT, Canon EF-M, Fujifilm X, Sony E, Nikon Z, and APS-C sensor cameras. A manual focus fisheye is built from 11 elements in 9 groups and has multi-coated elements in its design. Clicking aperture ring, F2.8 to F16 aperture range, 15cm minimum focusing distance, a full-frame equivalent focal length of 12mm, 15mm for MFT. It also costs $149 on Amazon.
