Just recently the Camera Delicate revealed about the new Sony 135mm f/1.8 GM E-mount lens that will be released at the end of February. By this time, Sony fans can be assured that the FE 135mm f/1.8 GM lens (SEL135F18GM) will be officially announced in the next 7-8 days because journalists recently had an invitation to Sony’s launch of this product. According to Sony Rumors, there is still hope that some other E-mount lenses like 100mm f/1.4, 500mm f/4.0, and 600mm f/4.0 will be released in this batch.
More about the two Sony FE 135mm f/1.8 GM lenses and 100mm f/1.4, according to the patent previously registered by Sony. Both are designed with 3 lens modules, with a large aperture at f/1.8 and f/1.4 respectively. With telephoto focal length and minimum focusing distance of 0.85m, these two lenses will definitely fit the portrait type.
However, according to this source, the third generation of the A7s, which is optimized for video recording and low-light photography, will not be released in the A7sIII this time. This is quite sad news for Sony fans when its predecessor, A7sII, has been released for a long time (September 2015). Instead, the trusted source also has the ability to launch another mirrorless camera with E-mount in June 2019, and it might be an advanced APS-C camera as A7000.
