Finland based HMD Global has officially announced its first Nokia Android smartphone in China called the Nokia 6. The HMD has an exclusive license to sell Nokia phones worldwide. The Nokia 6 price in China is set to CNY 1699 approximately $246, and is available in Black color only. Also worth to mention that it is a China exclusive phone and will be available exclusively via JD.com in the first half of 2017.
Nokia 6 Specifications
The Nokia 6 features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution that can convey a a pixel density of 401ppi, along with 450 nits of brightness. There is a 2.5D curved glass layer on top and is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The handset is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 (Quad 1.2GHz Cortex A53 + Quad 1.5GHz Cortex A53) 64-bit processor clubbed with Adreno 505 GPU and 4GB of RAM. It comes with 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded further up to 128GB using a microSD card.
On the camera, the device bears a 16-megapixel primary camera with f/2.0 aperture, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF), 1.0µm sensor, and dual-tone LED flash. There is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, 1.12µm sensor and 84-degree wide-angle lens to capture stunning selfies in low light conditions and make video calls.
The device has an aluminium alloy uni-body design that measures 154 x 75.8 x 7.8 mm and supports Hybrid Dual SIM, Dual speakers one on top and another one at bottom with Dual smart amplifiers (TFA9891) and Dolby Atmos for realistic sound experience. The handset also comes equipped with a front fingerprint sensor embedded into a home button which claimed to unlock the device in just 0.1 seconds.
The handset runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS and a 3000mAh battery with fast charging support out of the box. For connectivity, includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS, A-GPS, microUSB 2.0, and a 3.5mm audio jack options.
