Vivo India unveiled new IPL Limited Edition of the V5 Plus in India, which comes in a new Matte Black color and has the IPL 10th anniversary logo in Gold color engraved on the rear panel. While the Vivo V5 Plus IPL Edition price in India is set to Rs. 25,990, Rs. 1990 cheaper than the standard version that was launched for Rs. 27,980, and it is now available for purchase via Flipkart online store.
Vivo V5 Plus IPL Edition Specifications
It has the same specifications as the standard version, including a 5.5-inch In-Cell display with full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) resolution and the screen is also protected by 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The handset is powered by a 2.0GHz octa-core processor that’s backed by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC paired with Adreno 506 GPU and 4GB of RAM. It comes with inbuilt storage of 64GB, which is expandable via microSD card up to 256GB.
On the camera front, the Vivo V5 Plus smartphone bears a 16-megapixel primary camera with PDAF, f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. However, the main highlight of the device is the dual camera setup at the front including 20-megapixel Sony IMX376 1/2.78″ sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 5p lens, Moonlight Flash, and the secondary camera of 8-megapixel sensor to capture depth-of-field information.
The Vivo V5 Plus IPL Edition also comes equipped with a front fingerprint sensor to unlock the device quickly. It runs Funtouch OS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and packs a 3160mAh battery with fast charging support. It supports dual SIM slot with dual standby, For connectivity includes 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 microUSB 2.0 and 3.5 mm audio jack options. It measures 152.8 x 74 x 7.26 mm and weighs 158.6 grams.
