TP-Link at CES 2023 introduced a new Wi-Fi 7 router: the Archer BE900 BE24000 with quad-band WiFi 7 GHz speeds of up to 24 Gbps and a brand-new design. The device transmits with twelve antennas, two 5 GHz bands, and the 6 GHz band, also offers two 10G WAN/LAN ports, four 2.5G ports, one USB port, one RJ45 port, and one RJ45/SFP+ combo port.
One of the standout features of the TP-Link Archer BE900 is its support for WiFi 7 GHz, also known as 802.11be. This new wireless standard is designed to offer faster internet speeds and better reliability, particularly in areas with high network congestion. Wi-Fi 7 takes advantage of the less congested 6 GHz band in addition to the traditional 2.4 and 5 GHz frequencies to deliver reliable and secure wireless connections with compatible devices that are up to 4.8x faster than Wi-Fi 6, which is more than enough for even the most demanding applications like 8K video streaming and online gaming.
But speed isn’t the only thing the Archer BE900 has to offer. This router is also packed with advanced security features to help protect your network from online threats. It includes support for WPA3, the latest WiFi security standard, which provides improved encryption and protection against common attacks like brute-force password cracking.
