TeamGroup has announced its fastest gaming SSD, the T-FORCE CARDEA A440 PRO. CARDEA uses the latest NVMe 1.4 specification and PCIe Gen4x4 interface. The best SSD for gaming is available in different storage sizes and has two different heat sinks to meet the needs of gamers. The T-FORCE SSD offers read and write speeds of up to 7400/7000 MB/s.
TeamGroup has unveiled its new M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD for gaming, the T-FORCE CARDEA A440 PRO. The CARDEA is available in three different storage capacities, 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB, as well as with two different types of heat sinks, aluminum, and graphene. The T-FORCE SSD is compatible with the PCIe Gen4x4 interface and is backward compatible with the PCIe 3.0 interface. In addition, CARDEA uses the latest NVMe 1.4 specification and therefore supports PLM (Predictable Latency Mode) and RRL (Read Recovery Level), which decrease latency and improve QoS as well as device lifespan.
The Teamgroup SSD also boasts blazing read/write speeds of up to 7400/7000 MB/s and is 15 times faster than traditional SATA SSDs. These fast speeds produce a large amount of heat, and therefore T-FORCE SSD is cooled by a new aluminum fin heat sink and graphene heat diffuser. TeamGroup claims the new aluminum heat sink decreases high-temperature output by 48% and delays the frequency of speed drops during heavy operations. Therefore, the read/write performance of CARDEA is more reliable than that of other SSDs.
Besides, customers can choose the ultra-thin graphene heat sink as an alternative cooling solution, which allows flexible installation and does not interfere with other components. TeamGroup claims graphene heat sink is made of thermally conductive material that improves heat dispersion by 9%.
CARDEA is compatible with Windows Vista or later and Linux 2.6.33 or later. It comes with a five-year limited warranty. T-FORCE CARDEA A440 PRO gaming SSD is now available to buy via Amazon.com, and pricing starts from $189.99 for 1TB with the graphene head splitter and $209.99 for 1TB with the aluminum heatsink.
Recently, Western Digital has introduced the Red SN700 SSD, which is designed for use in domestic NAS servers. One level below was the SN550 WD Blue SSD, which will be replaced by the new WD Blue SN570 with immediate effect. Its pricing starts from $53.99.
