Sony Walkman ZX2 with 4 inch Display and 128GB Memory announced at CES 2015

Sony introduced the New Sony Walkman NWZ ZX2 player at CES 2015, the upgraded version of the Sony Walkman ZX1 with the emphasis remains Hi-res sound technology. In this release, Sony changed the design a bit to make the device more compact size, simple and easy to handle. Sony Walkman ZX2 comes with an extra microSD card slot to expand the memory capacity up to 128GB. In addition, it also enhances the sound quality decoding standard Bluetooth with LDAC developed by Sony, promises to bring better sound quality.

Basically, Sony Walkman ZX2 still uses audio-li S-Master Digital HX similar to ZX1. So it will support audio formats such as Hi-res 192 kHz/24-bit 2.8MHz or 5.6MHz DSD well. For designed using premium materials for optimal sound performance, including high purity cables do not use lead, OS-CON capacitors are optimized to make the device more slim, thus maintaining the frequency response and noise reduction for audio output.

Audio technology on the Sony Walkman ZX2 still includes ClearAudio + automatically optimizes the audio settings to suit the majority of users. In addition, enhanced sound technology HX – DSEE the Digital Sound Enhancement Engine helps recreate standard Hi-res sound quality from compressed music files.

The Sony Walkman ZX2 will own 4.0 inch LCD screen with a FWVGA resolution of 480×854 pixels to display information, it’s also support Triluminos Display to enhance color presentations. Sony did not mention details to configure the rest, even the Android 4.2 operating system. However, Wi-Fi has been upgraded 2.4GHz to 5GHz dual-band. This Sony Walkman MP3 Player is also the first player supports Bluetooth with LDAC codec decoding, it promises to enhance the sound quality of the discovered Bluetooth devices with efficient high-quality.

A supplement is similar to the Sony Walkman A10 integrated memory card slot can be expanded up to 128GB. The battery in device for the ability to play 60 hours of music or 33 hours of Hi-res MP3 music. Sony has not announced pricing for Sony Walkman ZX2, time released on the market in the first quarter of 2015.
