Sony has introduced the Touchless Shutter application allows users to enable shooting without touching the camera.
Many cameras are now equipped Sony EVF, including sensors recognize when you make eye sight to turn on / off EVF. Based on that principle, Touchless Shutter will identify your requirements. Instead of pressing the shutter button, the camera can work, you just need to hold your hands over the eye sensor to release the shutter, it will automatically capture. Currently Touchless shutter was released through the Sony PlayMemories Home. However, the Sony PlayMemories Camera Apps still in beta version and is only compatible with a certain amount of cameras.

Note:
- For Sony A7S and A7 II, applications can be activated even in the bulb – shooting mode
- Before running the app, you must enable [FINDER / MONITOR] or [FINDER / LCD Setting] to Auto
- Requires built-in or optional finder device with eye sensor. Pop up the finder when using this application with a camera model which has a pop-up electronic finder
