Samsung Galaxy M23 5G debuts with 1080p 60Hz Display

Along with the Galaxy M33 5G (approx. £299 on Amazon), Samsung also revealed the Galaxy M23 5G, another mid-range smartphone with a 6.6-inch 1080p display. The Samsung M23 5G is equipped with a 5G chipset, unlike the Galaxy A13 or Galaxy A23. The Samsung Galaxy M23 5G has come in three colors and one memory configuration as well.

Samsung has announced the Galaxy M23, one of four Galaxy A and Galaxy M smartphones it unveiled. Like the Galaxy A13 and Galaxy A23, the Galaxy M23 uses a 6.6-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 2408 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by the Snapdragon 750G 8nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 619 GPU.

Additionally, the Galaxy M23 has a 5G modem, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of expandable storage. According to Samsung’s spec sheet, the device supports microSD cards up to 1TB, unlike the Galaxy S22 series. Also, the Galaxy M23 offers a 5000mAh battery, another thing that the Galaxy M23 shares with the Galaxy A13 and Galaxy A23.

In addition, Samsung has equipped the Galaxy M23 with a 50 MP (f/1.8) primary camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide (f/2.2), a 2 MP depth camera (f/ 2.4), and an 8 MP (f/2.2) front camera. In other words, the Galaxy M23 has the same cameras as the Galaxy A13 and Galaxy A23 except for their 2 MP rear macro camera.
