The Asus ROG Flow Z13 2023 GZ301 is an updated version with GeForce RTX 40 series and Intel 13th Gen Core i9-13900H processor. It is the best gaming laptop 2 in 1 model with a 165 Hz fast QHD+ display and a dedicated GPU and holds a unique position in its field.

The Asus Z13 2023 was first introduced at CES 2023 with a GeForce RTX 40 series, plus up to an Intel Core i9-13900H, and a 165 Hz QHD+ touchscreen with 2,560 x 1,600 pixels, pen input, Gorilla Glass DXC, Dolby Vision, G-Sync and a brightness of 500 cd/m².

Asus manages to fit all of these features into a sleek 13-inch tablet that measures 13 to 14.26 mm in thickness. To ensure proper cooling of the components, the cooling system has undergone revision and still utilizes a vapor chamber and liquid metal. As a result, the TGP has been increased to 65 W from the predecessor’s 40 W for the RTX 3050. The cooling system should be able to handle a total of 75 W under combined loads, such as gaming, leaving either 10 W for the CPU or 25 W with an inactive Dynamic Boost.

With a power supply that now delivers 130 W instead of the previous 100 W and the inclusion of a MUX switch along with Advanced Optimus, one can anticipate a significant boost in performance. The manufacturer assures consumers that the tablet will operate coolly and quietly.

Another interesting point is the fast charging with 130 W via USB-C, while at the same time, there is talk of PD 3.0, which “only” supports 100 W. The battery has remained the same size at 56 Wh. A highlight should be the full-size RGB-illuminated keyboard with a 1.7 mm hub. The IR webcam has also been upgraded to FullHD. The 16 GB DDR5-5200 RAM as the only option is a shame; for which there is a maximum of a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. When it comes to connections, you get one TB4, one each USB-A and USB-C 3.2, a 3.5 mm audio port, and a microSD card reader.
