In addition to the Asus ProArt OLED PA27DCE, the Taiwanese tech giant has unveiled the ProArt Display PA169CDV, a 4K touch display. An official product page for this model has now surfaced, offering more insights and hinting at an imminent release.
This innovation, certified with DisplayHDR 400, verified by Calman, and validated by Pantone, is a portable 15.6-inch screen sporting 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels), an IPS panel, and 10-point touch capability. It includes the ProArt pen, employing Wacom EMR technology, allowing users to directly draw or write on the screen.
The spec sheet also highlights essential features such as 10-bit color depth, a peak brightness of 500 cd/m², a 29 ms response time, a 60 Hz refresh rate, 100 percent coverage of sRGB and Rec. 709 color spaces, a 1200:1 contrast ratio, and an impressively low Delta-E value of less than 2. The on-screen menu offers ProArt presets for the mentioned color spaces, as well as options for Adobe RGB, DCI-P3, and HDR.
On the connectivity front, it offers HDMI 2.0 and USB-C with DisplayPort alternative and 15-watt PD support. Two fold-out stands at the rear enable flexible positioning of the portable screen, allowing for both landscape and portrait orientations.
The Asus ProArt Display PA169CDV 4K touch display weighs a mere 1.07 kg and comes complete with a convenient carrying case. It draws power from an included power adapter and features two built-in 1-watt speakers for audio output.
