Obi Worldphone, a little unknown Mobile company which is co-founded by John Sculley, who previously served as the former head of two major corporations such as Apple and Pepsi-Cola.
The Obi Worldphone-based in San Francisco, today officially unveiled two new Smart Phones named SF1 (San Francisco) and SJ1.5 (San Jose). Both the Obi Phones have pretty good configuration and mid-range prices starting from $129 and $199, will be available for official purchase in the October of this year.
The Obi Worldphone SF1 and Obi Worldphone SJ1.5 products are specially aimed at young generation in countries like a Asia, Africa and the Middle East so the prices are also very moderate. The SF1 comes with a little higher configuration, using Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Octa-core processor, supports Dual SIM 4G LTE network; it features a 13-megapixel Sony IMX214 Exmor sensor along with many advanced features such as super fast autofocus less than 1 sec; laser focus and object recognition. It has a Chroma Flash Technology from Qualcomm, which capture 2 shots in one click, with and without flash, to set a final image; UbiFocus Qualcomm Technology: lets users tweak the focus after taking a photo; OptiZoom Qualcomm Technology: zoom without losing image quality.
The The Obi Worldphone SF1 features a customizable Obi Lifespeed interface with Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. Dolby Audio Technology with a stereoscopic sound speakers to create realistic sound. It also supports a Quick Charge Qualcomm 1.0, a fully charged battery in 3 hours.

Meanwhile the Obi Worldphone SJ1.5 come with a little lower configuration and a lower price, at $129. It supports Dual SIM with 3G connectivity, powered by a MediaTek MT6580 1.3GHz Quad-core processor, 2.5D curved screen design and use Gorilla Glass 3 and running Android 5.1 Lollipop. Both the devices will be pre-installed AVG AntiVirus PRO security system to protect devices against malicious software, viruses and theft of personal information.
