Nintendo NX: Next Android gaming device from Nintendo?

Japanese newspaper called Nikkei has revealed that Nintendo will likely launch a New Nintendo Console which running Android platform.Nintendo NX Specs  Nintendo NX RumorsCurrently this project is dubbed internally as “NX”, it is not clear that it will be a console or handheld device but likely will be hybrid devices between both concepts. The source also added that the New Nintendo NX is not a substitute for the company’s other gaming devices alongside with Nintendo Wii U. The 3DS also switch to using Android will help players gain access to multiple games, apps and more. They also encourage the developers to participate in this project so they can design the games for NX devices, smartphones and tablets.

We can also expect that the Nintendo will customize the interface of the operating system so it is more suitable for gaming purposes and not only for the smartphone versions. A few months ago Nintendo also confirmed that they are developing games for smart phones, and launch their first mobile game end of this year.
