Optoma has unveiled a new short-throw home projector: UHD35STx. This latest multimedia projector follows in the footsteps of the UHD35, launched last year. The company pitched this new smart projector as a true 4K UHD projector for home theater or gaming. The UHD35STx is a DLP projector with a throw ratio of 0.5:1, allowing it to produce a 254cm wide image from a distance of less than 1.2m. The largest image you can create is 762cm wide.

Like its predecessor, the Optoma projector for home has a high brightness of up to 3,600 lumens, allowing you to see the image clearly in a brighter room, and a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1. With HDR10 and HLG HDR support, Optoma claims the projector produces lifelike colors, covering the Rec.709 color gamut. In Gaming mode, Optoma’s gadget has a response time of 4.2ms with 1080p 240Hz resolution or 16ms with 4K 60Hz image

You can connect to the 1080p projector via HDMI and USB-A ports. In addition, the device has a built-in power system. Moreover, the device has a built-in 10W speaker and usually generates 24dB of noise when working. The device weighs around 2.5 kg and measures around 31.5 x 27.0 x 11.8 cm (12.4 x 10.6 x 4.7 in), which makes it quite portable, and it comes with a backlit remote control.
