Microsoft recently posted an article on his blog to talk about the new version of the Skype application for Windows 10.
Accordingly, the New Skype Updates will have new interface looks simple, sober and look very similar to the Hangouts application like iMessage chat or on other operating systems. In the screenshot we also see the Messaging, suggests that Skype will be integrated with this app and become the default chat on Windows 10. You can quickly chat or video call to your Friend on Skype, chat are synchronized across many different devices.
Microsoft also advertised as experience with integrated Skype, you can send free text messages through the Internet right from the taskbar. There is a noteworthy point is that Skype will begin to associate the phone number of the person used with Skype to help other people find you more easily, similar to the way OTT services like Viber, Zalo, WhatsApp works. This move makes New Skype becomes ever more competitive than its rivals because it exists on all popular platforms today, from Android, iOS, Windows Phone, BlackBerry to Windows, OS X. Besides, Skype also backed by big companies are Microsoft, while the other does not OTT services. iMessage only run with Apple systems. Currently Microsoft has not announced the Messaging features, this app has not appeared in Windows 10 build 9926 has just been released. Maybe they’ll add it in the next round of updates.
