MXR Thump Bass Preamp

The MXR Thump Bass Preamp offers all the features of a classic pedal for modern bass setups. The idea for effect pedal was developed rather by chance when the MXR design team found that the Echoplex Preamp also harmonizes wonderfully with electric basses. Based on this circuit, the pedal has been expanded by an effective EQ section that can perfectly adapt the bass sound to the requirements on stage or in the studio. The treble and bass controls work as cut or boost at 4 kHz and 40 Hz, the mid control also as cut or boost between 250 Hz and 1 kHz.

The recommended retail price for the MXR Thump Bass Preamp is $129.99 and it can be purchased through Amazon.com store.

Jimi Hendrix made the Octavio Fuzz famous and to this day the dynamic Octavio Fuzz is extremely popular. Whether rock, metal or doom, the Octavio can be found everywhere. With the M267, the fuzz testing pedal is now part of the MXR standard series for the first time. The layout and design of the pedal are as simple as ever – two control output and fuzz, and the intensity of the octave-up effect can be controlled via the pick attack. The MXR Octavio Fuzz (M267) is a dynamic fuzz with a wonderful sound texture that will inspire guitarists to break new ground – just like Jimi Hendrix once did.

The recommended retail price for the MXR Octavio Fuzz is also $129.99 through the Amazon.com store.

MXR Dookie Drive V3

MXR Dookie Drive V3

Billie Joe Armstrong’s sound on the legendary Green Day album ‘Dookie’ sounded dirty, aggressive and offered the perfect level of articulation to perfectly support the fast, melodic riffs. To achieve this sound, Armstrong played in parallel through two heavily modified amplifiers – an amp in a high-gain setting with scooped mids and an amp with a very defined midrange. Both amplifiers were then mixed in the mix as required. The MXR Dookie Drive Pedal combines the sound of the two amps in one pedal and also offers the option of continuously mixing both sections.

It will be available to buy in the coming days.
