PreSonus Eris E7 XT: New Studio Monitor Speakers from Eris XT Family

PreSonus announces that the new Eris E7 XT studio monitor speakers are now available. Maybe you already know the E5 XT and E8 XT studio monitors, this monitor speaker fit exactly between these two models.

According to the manufacturer, the Eris E7 XT fits optimally in studios with moderate and medium size. The active studio monitor speakers come with the same 130 watt Class AB bi-amplification as the Eris E8 XT.

However, the 7-inch woofer doesn’t go quite as far down as the larger model, but 42 Hz should still be enough for powerful and focused bass response. A 1.25-inch tweeter with a silk dome is also here, the EBM Waveguide again ensures a large sweet spot and minimized reflections.

On the back, as with the other models in the series, you will find connections for XLR, 6.3 mm jack and RCA inputs. In addition to the gain control, the panel for acoustic tuning allows you to raise and lower mids (1 kHz) and treble (10 kHz) up to 6 dB. The switches for low cut and acoustic space are added. The latter compensates for effects that result from positioning on the wall or in corners.
