Lenovo has introduced a new addition to its business monitor lineup, the ThinkVision P49w-30, offering an expansive 49-inch display with DQHD resolution (5120 x 1440 pixels, 32:9 aspect ratio).
This monitor features an integrated IPS Black panel delivering brightness of 350 cd/m² at a 60 Hz refresh rate, with a speedy 4 ms response time (gray to gray) and an impressive contrast ratio of 2000:1. The datasheet also highlights a 10-bit color depth (8-bit + FRC), covering 98 percent of the DCI-P3 color space, a Delta-E value of less than 2, and a curvature of 3800 R.
Additionally, it comes equipped with two built-in 5-watt speakers and offers picture-in-picture and picture-by-picture modes. For added convenience, you have the option to attach a Lenovo soundbar or webcam to the screen.
Connectivity is a breeze with the Lenovo ThinkVision P49w-30. It includes two HDMI 2.1 inputs, a DisplayPort 1.4, a USB 3.2 hub (Gen 1), an RJ-45 socket (1 Gbit/s), a headphone output, a USB-C interface, and Thunderbolt 4 with 100-watt power delivery. The monitor even features a KVM switch, eliminating the need to constantly swap cables when connecting two devices.
In terms of ergonomics, the monitor offers rotation, tilt, height adjustment, VESA mounting options (100 x 100 and 200 x 100 mm), blue light filtering, and flicker-free backlighting. The Lenovo ThinkVision P49w-30 has a typical power consumption of 58 watts, weighs 11.1 kg without the stand, and comes with a reassuring three-year warranty.
