Lenovo recently expanded its Mini PCs series. The new IdeaCentre Mini 5i can be equipped with a current Intel Comet Lake processor with up to eight cores and 32 GB of RAM. Despite the compact miniPC size, the manufacturer has installed a decent selection of connections.
The new Lenovo small computer is measuring just 19.4 x 18.2 x 4 centimeters and a weight of 1.48 kilograms, Lenovo has put the latest Intel Comet Lake-S processors into the tiny PC.
The customer has a very wide selection, from the Intel Core i3-10100 to the Intel Core i7-10700T, with eight cores and 16 threads at clock frequencies of up to 4.5 GHz, even demanding users should be able to work with the device. However, there is no dedicated graphics card, and since there is no Thunderbolt port, no external graphics card can be used.
After all, the mini desktop computer offers a USB-C 3.1 port, five USB-A 3.1 ports, Ethernet, AUX, and HDMI. The Lenovo Idea Centre small computers can be equipped with 4 to 32 GB of RAM and a 128 to 512 GB SSD, alternatively a hard disk with up to 2 TB can be installed. The power supply delivers 90 or 135 watts depending on the equipment. As a little extra in design, the housing is equipped with a color-coordinated fabric cover on the top, this mostly found on smart speakers, smart displays, but for a miniPC, this is something new.

The Lenovo IdeaCentre Mini 5i MiniPC is now available to pre-order via the Bhphotovideo.com store for a recommended retail price of $999 along with the Free Bitdefender Total Security 2020 (5 Devices, 1-Year License) worth $89.99.
Last month, Lenovo has also released a new IdeaCentre 5 14IMB05 PC Desktop Computer system unit, which is enclosed in a mineral gray case with an emerging straight stripe on the front panel and in which a little black part is left for ports and power button.
