Venus Optics Laowa Argus 35mm f0.95 Super Fast Lens for Sony E, Nikon Z, and Canon RF mounts

Venus Optics has announced a new full-frame ultra-fast wide angle lens Laowa Argus 35mm f0.95. This lens is the fastest 35mm lens ever developed for full-frame cameras. The lens is available for several mounts at once, namely for Sony E, Nikon Z, and Canon RF mounts.

The Argus 35mm f0.95 lens has an aperture switch that allows you to switch to silent mode when using this lens in video shooting and also has a focusing ring with a 300-degree rotation angle and a 15-blade aperture.

The new Laowa Argus lens uses the same internal focusing system as the Laowa Argus 33mm f0.95 CF APO lens model. This focusing system is said to maximize optical performance at both infinite focusing and closest focusing distance, according to the manufacturer.

In addition, the design of the 35mm f0.95 body is sealed and prevents dust from entering the optics. Venus Optics claims that its engineers have managed to find a balance between ease of use and the optical performance of the lens.

The manufacturer has managed to bring the design to a level that can cover the main full-frame sensor and offer a wide perspective with a shallow depth of field at an affordable price.
