Dreame has taken the wraps off its latest flagship vacuum and floor-mopping robot, the L20 Ultra, at IFA 2023 in Berlin, showcasing a range of significant improvements. One standout feature is its newfound ability to not only deploy mops automatically but also extend them using MopExtend, allowing for edge-to-edge cleaning without rims.
Dreame’s focus on enhancing the L20 Ultra is particularly evident in its mopping function, where the introduction of MopExtend takes center stage. This innovative technology empowers the robot to autonomously extend its mop right to the edges. Furthermore, the vacuum and floor mopping robot can cleverly lift its dual rotating mops by up to 10.5 mm through ultrasonic carpet recognition, automatically returning them to their station to prevent carpet soiling.
The central rubber brush is also designed for ease of use, facilitating effortless hair removal. The Vormax suction system, boasting a robust 7,000 Pa suction power, ensures thorough cleaning. The robot’s intelligent Pathfinder Smart Navigation leverages artificial intelligence and 3D light core mapping to scan its immediate environment, intelligently detecting and avoiding obstacles.
The comprehensive cleaning station is a game-changer. Not only does it empty the dust container, enabling up to 75 days of hands-free vacuuming, but it also cleans and dries the dual scrub mops. Equipped with a 3.2-liter dust bag and a 4.5-liter water tank, it even accommodates cleaning agents.
