Intex India has officially launched the budget Hexa-Core smartphone, the Cloud Tread with it expanding its Intex Cloud series. The Intex Cloud Tread price in India is quite affordable Rs. 4,999 – approximately $75 USD and it is available in Champagne and Grey color variants. Users can register the device exclusively on Snapdeal and it will be sold via flash sale starting from August 30, 2016.
The Intex Cloud Tread features a 5.0-inch IPS LCD display with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution that is rated to deliver a pixel density of 294pp and screen is also protected by the Dragontrail Glass.
This Intex Mobile is powered by a 1.5 GHz Hexa-core processor that is backed by 64-bit MediaTek MT6591 chipset paired with Mali 450 GPU. It has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of native storage, which can be further expanded up to 32 GB with the help of microSD card.

On the camera front, the Cloud Tread flaunts a 5-megapixel primary autofocus camera with LED flash and same 5-megapixel camera sensor on the front camera for better selfies and video calling. Camera also features various modes such as Face Beauty Mode, Gesture Capture, HDR, Self Timer, Zero Shutter Delay and FHD (1080p) video recording at 20 frames per second.
The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box and packs in a 2200mAh battery which is claimed to deliver up to 11 hours of talk time and up to 200 hours of standby time.
On the connectivity front, the Intex smartphone supports Dual SIM with Dual Standby mode, and includes 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, A-GPS, microUSB 2.0, 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio options. It supports Accelerometer and Proximity sensors. Measuring 145 x 72 x 9.4 mm and weighs 145 grams.
Last month, Intex Mobile Phones has announced Cloud String 2 smartphone with new SOS feature, Fingerprint Sensor and 2GB of RAM, priced at Rs 6,499.
