A week after the launch of the flagship Mate 10 series, Huawei introduced the Smart Watch 2 Pro. Externally, the accessory is almost similar to the Huawei Watch 2 Classic model. It has a traditional style of mechanical design of watches with a round display and a leather strap. One of the features of Huawei Watch 2 Pro is the presence of a SIM card slot with 4G support, which allows us to make calls without the need of any smartphone.
The Watch 2 Pro uses a special version of the Android Wear 2.0 operating system developed for the Chinese market. It has no Google Play services, but it is equipped with NFC for wireless payments through Huawei Pay, Alipay and Wechat Pay. They also have Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.
Huawei Watch 2 Pro received a 1.2-inch AMOLED-display with a resolution of 390×390 pixels, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 2100 processor paired with 768MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and a heart rate sensor. The watch case is also IP68 standard waterproof.
