HP Z1 G3 All-in-one Workstation Desktop with 4K Display, USB-C and 64GB RAM Launched

HP has launched the 3rd edition of the All-in-one Workstation – Z1 G3. Besides using Intel Skylake platform, HP Z1 G3 has increased the screen resolution up to 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels) and lower screen sizes from 27 inches to 23.6 inch display makes clear and sharp images. The new version of HP Z1 Computer also brings a diverse selection of hard drive, built-in USB Type C and Thunderbolt 3 connectors​​.Untitled-1

HP Z1 G3 All-in-one Workstation has slim design when compared to the previous HP Z1 G2. Screen surface with slightly curved design connected with the base can support up and down axis, similar to screen’s design. As usual, the back panel of screen is removable to upgrade the internal components of the Workstation very easily.

The HP Z1 G3 desktop supports up to 2 hard drive trays 2.5″ HDD or SSD to mount two SSDs and NVMe PCIe used to communicate with 3 M.2 2280 protocols, bringing the storage capacity from 256GB to 1TB SSD. This version also eliminated the optical drive to bring integrated connectors including 6x USB 3.0 ports, 2x USB 3.1 Type-C and 2x Thundertbolt 3 ​​port (USB Type-C interface). Users have six different options to choose processor in Z1 G3 starting from Core i3-6100, i5-6500, i7-6700, Xeon E3-1225 v5, E3-1245 v5 and E3-1270 v5. Two optional discrete graphics card includes NVIDIA Quadro M1000M 2GB and M2000M 4GB, besides integrated graphics Intel HD Graphics 530 or P530.

With 330W power supply, the HP Z1 G3 Workstation down nearly 20 percent power consumption compared to previous generations. The overall design of this HP Workstation All in One is 47 percent smaller and 51 percent lighter; weighing just 10.51 kg, down by half compared to the Z1 G1. Finally, the HP Z1 G3 price starting from $1,498, which is $500 more cheaper than the previous generation.
