HP Victus 16: new gaming brand starts with an inexpensive 16-inch Laptop and B&O sound

HP has announced a new sub-brand of HP gaming laptops to complement the Omen line. HP Victus 16 now available with an Intel processor, which offers NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 GPU, and 16.1-inch FHD 144Hz display. The new gamer laptop is designed to meet the needs of those who want high-performance hardware without having to break the bank for a high-end computer game laptop.

HP has recently introduced a new series of gaming laptops called Victus by HP. The new HP gaming laptop is designed to meet the needs of gamers who want high-performance hardware for the game, but the price who are not yet ready to shell out a lot of money for a high-end laptop gaming.

The HP Victus 16 offers display options up to a 165Hz QHD IPS display with 100% sRGB coverage, 300 nits of brightness, and EyeSafe low blue light emissions. Buyers can choose between Intel Core i7-11800H and AMD Ryzen 7 5800H which can be paired with up to 32GB DDR4-3200 memory. In terms of graphics, the Victus by HP 16 allows you to choose between an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU graphics card and an AMD Radeon RX 5500M. HP said it uses 5-way airflow with a 4-heatpipe design to improve thermal properties. The base of the device offers a 70% larger air inlet to power the 60W and 80W graphics options.

HP offers several storage choices, including a 1TB PCIe Gen4 SSD or two RAID 0 SSDs, as well as Intel Optane options. The Victus by HP sports a distinctive “V” logo in several places, including on the cover, under the screen, and on the speaker grille. HP said it uses the familiar Omen font on the keyboard as well as dedicated keys for the Omen Game Hub, power supply, and calculator. The keyboard doesn’t seem to offer per-key RGB effects, but standard backlighting is available.

The HP Victus 16 is now available to pre-order on Amazon.com and Bestbuy.com at starting price of $929.99 Performance Blue color and is expected to be available from July 4th, 2021.

Recently, HP has also given one of its largest multimedia Envy notebooks an update so that the new device is ready for 2021. The latest HP Envy 17 (2021) laptop now comes with Thunderbolt 4, Intel Tiger Lake, an Nvidia GeForce MX450, and an optional 4K OLED display.
