HP Pro Tablet 608 with 8-inch display, USB-C, Intel Atom x5 CPU Launched

The HP Pro Tablet 608 is a new tablet running the latest Windows Hewlett-Packard has just been revealed. This Tablet with an integrated microphone system and one of the first tablet on the market using standard USB-C.

The HP Pro Tablet 608 carries similar design as other products. It has a solid metal case design, measures 8.35 mm and weighs just 360 g, stereo speakers located above and below the screen, With this appearance HP Pro Tablet may be directed to the business segment.

The HP Pro Tablet 608 with an 8-inch display, aspect screen ratio of 4:3, which is a screen ratio that currently used by many manufacturers on their products like Asus ZenPad 7 or 8 tablets, Samsung Galaxy Tab A or S2. One of the main highlights of this tablet is 8-inch 207 x 137 mm screen with a QXGA resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. This is the first time HP applied this resolution on a small tablet.

The HP Pro Tablet 608 comes with a pretty decent configuration, an Intel Atom x5-Z8500 processor and 4x 1.44 GHz high-performance CPU. This is the new generation Intel Cherry Trail mobile chip was introduced in Q1 of this year, just after the Microsoft Surface 3. The tablet is packed with a 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory can expand via external MicroSD cards. With this configuration, the Tablet is running Windows 8.1 operating system and also upgradeble to Windows 10.

HP said on integrated battery can withstand approximately 8 hours. In addition, the tablet also features a 8-megapixel rear and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The HP Pro Tablet 608 is one of the few new devices on the market using the USB-C allows you to plug in cables without looking surface above or below.
