Well-known brand Brix from Gigabyte, which usually identifies the high-performance Desktop PC or mini-PC. Now Gigabyte unveils a new compact desktop system – Gigabyte Brix GT, designed for those who want to play high-end games without any compromise, but, at the same time, does not like classic or bulky desktop tower to be placed under the desk.
With its measuring around 276 x 384 x 128 mm, Gigabyte Brix GT is bigger than its predecessors, but the hardware configuration is much higher for any mini PC or low-power systems.
To drive the car, Brix GT gears an Intel Core i7-6700K quad-core processor with 32 GB of dual-channel DDR4-2133 SO-DIMM memory and a 240 GB M.2 SSD, an additional 1 TB 2.5-inch HDD, along with a vacant 2.5-inch drive bay. The high-end graphics performance are guaranteed by the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 GPU.
The other features include: Realtek ALC1150 HDA audio codec, TI Burr Brown OPA2134 AMP, an Intel 3165NGW dual-band 802.11ac WLAN, dual Bluetooth 4.0, Killer E2400 gigabit LAN, 2 x USB 3.1 (1 x USB Type-C), and 4 x USB 3.0 (1 x USB Type-C).
There are no more details from Gigabyte about the pricing and availability, but we expect a fairly high pricing when considering its integrated components.
