Gigabyte Aorus 17X Gaming Laptop with 240Hz Display, Core i9-13900HX, and GeForce RTX 4090

Amazon and Newegg online stores will begin accepting pre-orders for the first gaming laptop with 240Hz refresh rate in its range with a powerful Intel Raptor Lake CPU and NVIDIA’s flagship GeForce RTX 4090 mobile graphics card. We are talking about the Aorus 17X model from Gigabyte.

The Gigabyte Aorus 17X gaming laptop with 240Hz refresh rate QHD display will offer a 24-core Core i9-13900HX with a frequency of up to 5.4 GHz. The HX-series processors have increased the nominal power consumption to 55 W, but they are equipped with a lower-performance integrated graphics core.

However, the integrated graphics of this laptop is not at all necessary, because it is equipped with the flagship GeForce RTX 4090 graphics accelerator with 16 GB of GDDR6 memory, which has a power consumption of up to 175 watts.

The Gigabyte 17X also comes with 32GB of dual-channel DDR5-5600 RAM and a 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. The laptop offers a 17.3-inch screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio, support for a resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels, a refresh rate of 240 Hz, and 100 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space.

The laptop also has support for wireless standards Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth and has a pre-installed operating system Windows 11 Pro.

The weight of the Gigabyte Aorus 17X laptop is 2.8 kg. It comes with a 330W power supply.

Price and release date

In this configuration, the laptop is estimated at $3,499 and will be available for purchase from Amazon.com and Newegg.com online stores.
