HP Envy Move all-in-one touchscreen monitor with battery and handle

HP’s latest all-in-one monitor stands out for its portability, featuring an integrated handle that facilitates easy transport and even allows usage away from power sources, thanks to its built-in battery. Dubbed Envy Move, HP has also considered the convenience of transporting the wireless keyboard and integrated trackpad with this device.

What sets the HP Envy Move apart from most all-in-one models is its unique design. The retractable handle, designed for comfortable carrying, supports the device and weighs approximately 4.1 kilograms. Additionally, there’s a pocket on the back, perfectly sized to accommodate the included Bluetooth keyboard, which also boasts an integrated trackpad.

Powering the HP Envy TouchSmart PC is an 83 Wh battery, enabling usage for “up to 4 hours” without being tethered to an electrical outlet. While the specifications may seem conventional, they are impressive nonetheless. The device sports a 23.8-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels and a brightness of 300 nits.

Under the hood, it houses an Intel Core i5-1335U processor, featuring two performance cores with clock frequencies reaching up to 4.6 GHz, along with eight efficiency cores and the integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics G7 with 80 execution units.

The Envy Move offers up to 16 GB of LPDDR5-4,800 RAM and an SSD with a capacity of up to 1 TB. Notably, HP claims that this model is the world’s first all-in-one to feature “Adaptive Surround Sound,” where the speakers automatically adjust their audio output based on the surrounding environment.

For video calls, HP has integrated a 5-megapixel webcam with a privacy shutter. Additionally, the device includes a feature that automatically turns off the screen when the user moves away from the PC, conserving power.

It comes in three versions: a standard variant, a plus variant, and an energy-efficient version. The Plus variant, in particular, offers the option to include a dedicated graphics card, specifically the AMD Radeon RX 6500.
