DJI Matrice 350 RTK Advanced Drone Announced

DJI has unveiled its latest drone model, the DJI Matrice 350 RTK, which comes equipped with enhanced features for adaptability, safety, and efficiency. Boasting a remarkable maximum flight time of 55 minutes and a payload capacity of 2.7 kg, this drone has the potential to carry even heavy movie cameras, although there are more specialized drones available for such tasks, such as the DJI Inspire 3.

One of the notable upgrades to the DJI Matrice 350 RTK is the inclusion of the DJI O3 Enterprise Transmission system, which enables three-channel 1080p live video streaming with a maximum range of 20 km. With four antennas at its disposal, the drone can automatically select the two most optimal antennas for optimal signal transmission.

Furthermore, the drone now offers improved anti-interference capabilities and more stable data transmission. The FPV camera has been redesigned to ensure safer nighttime flights, and the drone’s protection rating has been elevated from IP45 to IP55. This means it is now resistant to dust and water and can operate within a temperature range of -20 to 50 degrees Celsius.

To enhance location accuracy and obstacle detection, the DJI Matrice 350 RTK features a six-direction binocular vision system and a six-direction infrared sensor system. For even more precise obstacle detection, users have the option to install a CSM radar on the top of the drone.

The DJI Matrice 350 RTK drone comes standard with the DJI RC Plus, a 7-inch remote control that can operate for up to 6 hours using a standard WB37 external battery.

The station provides various charging modes, including a storage mode that charges the battery to 50% when it won’t be used for an extended period, as well as a flight-ready mode.

With a maximum payload capacity of 2.7 kg, the DJI Matrice 350 RTK drone can simultaneously accommodate up to three separate modules for different scenarios, such as inspection, mapping, and security.

In addition to these capabilities, the DJI Matrice 350 RTK drone can be customized with payloads like gas detectors, loudspeakers, and multispectral sensors, utilizing the DJI Payload SDK to expand its range of applications.

With features like the high-precision PinPoint function and real-time cloud mapping, the M350 RTK drone can autonomously capture images and seamlessly link acquired data, facilitating efficient information transmission. The remote control, as well as FlightHub 2, supports dot, line, and surface drawing, as well as real-time data uploads.
