Dell UltraSharp UP2720QA 4K 27-inch display with colorimeter

Dell has unveiled the UltraSharp UP2720QA, a new 27-inch 4K display intended as the successor to the Dell UP2720Q released in 2020. This new addition to the Dell PremierColor monitor features an IPS panel with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels (4K) and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. It boasts a promising 1300:1 contrast ratio and provides full coverage of the Adobe RGB color space.

The Dell PremierColor monitor also delivers impressive color performance, with 98 percent DCI-P3 and 80 percent BT.2020 coverage. It offers a 10-bit color depth, a fast gray transition time of 5 to 8 ms, and a typical luminance of 250 cd/m². Notably, the display comes equipped with an integrated colorimeter, allowing users to perform hardware calibration without the need for additional equipment. Additionally, users can schedule automatic calibration processes using the Dell Calibration Assistant software.

In terms of connectivity, the Dell Ultra Sharp 27-inch monitor offers two HDMI 2.0 inputs, a DisplayPort 1.4, a USB 3.2 hub (Gen 2), a headphone output, and Thunderbolt 4 with DisplayPort alternate mode. Dell UltraSharp 27-inch 4K monitor also features daisy chain functionality and 90-watt power delivery (PD). The display includes a picture-by-picture mode for added convenience. As for ergonomics, it leaves no stone unturned, offering tilt, rotation, height adjustment, pivot, VESA mount compatibility (100 x 100 mm), blue light filtering, and a flicker-free backlight.

According to the EU energy label, the Dell UltraSharp UP2720QA has a typical power consumption of 32 watts. It weighs 5.55 kg without the stand and comes with a three-year warranty that includes on-site replacement service, covering pixel defects as well. Additionally, a glare protection hood is included in the package.
