Dell Alienware 13 – Hard-core Gaming Laptop

Dell recently launched the Dell Alienware 13 with new design and style, thin, light with luxurious finishes. Dell Alienware 13 weighs 2kg and is first gaming laptop of 13-inch from Dell. Laptop slated to go on sale in November.

Design:

Outside of laptop is slim size, Dell Alienware 13 features the same aesthetic we’ve come to know and love, with a lid and thick gray anodized aluminum. The difference in size between Alienware 14 and 13 is visually striking, but it did not hit home until you actually hold in your hands the both. Relatively the Alienware 14 bowed down of its heavy weight, but Alienware 13 is very easy to handle than 14.

Display:

With Dell Alienware 13, gamers will have a choice between the 1366×768, 1920×1080 or 2560×1440 13.3-inch panel. While configuring 768p would definitely cheaper, but you can buy at least 1080p versions. Historically, Alienware display was a three threats of vibration, brightness and wide viewing angle. Consumers that want 1440p QHD model also has the option of getting a touchscreen.

Keyboard:

The notebook can be configured with up to 16GB of RAM and a pair of SSDs. As far as the operating system, customers can choose between Windows 7 Pro, Windows 8.1 and Windows 8.1 Pro. This company has not yet determined the exact Intel processor will be powering for Alienware 13, only tells us that it will be dual-core and focus on low power.

Verdict:

Dell Alienware 13 remains true with Alienware power, providing greater energy in a particular frame. The laptop offers a good display with wide viewing angles, comfortable keyboard and a solid set of specs. But it’s too early to give a final judgment on this laptop.
