TP-Link has unveiled two new devices that promise to revolutionize the world of Wi-Fi 7 routers. The Deco BE85 mesh system is a deployment kit that supports 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz frequencies with a maximum throughput of up to 22Gbps. The OnePlus 11 smartphone was used in an internal test and achieved a maximum connection speed of over 3 Gbps near the access point and up to 300 Mbps at the far edge of the Wi-Fi coverage area. This is an impressive feat that can provide users with a seamless connection regardless of where they are in the house.

Each module in the kit is equipped with eight antennas and 12 amplification modules, all controlled by a quad-core processor. To keep the system cool, two fans at the bottom of the case have been installed. You can set up the system both via cable (up to 10 Gb/s) and wirelessly, making it very easy to use. According to the manufacturer, a set of three access points provides stable coverage on an area of up to 890 m2 and supports simultaneous connection to the network of up to 200 devices.

The Archer BE800 router is another Wi-Fi 7 router from TP-Link, and it boasts some impressive features. The router has a custom design with an LED display that can show the time, weather, or “mood” using emojis. The Archer BE800 can connect up to 100 clients simultaneously, and its features are almost identical to a separate Deco BE85 module.

TP-Link Deco BE85 & Archer BE800 price and release date

The manufacturer has priced the TP-Link Deco BE85 mesh kit of three access points at $1,499.99 on Amazon.com, which may seem steep, but it’s worth it for the coverage it provides. The Archer BE800 router is priced at $5,99.99 on Amazon.com, which is more reasonable, and it’s a great option for those who want a Wi-Fi 7 router but don’t need the extensive coverage provided by the mesh system. In terms of release dates, both products will be released on June 1, 2023.

TP-Link at CES 2023 introduced a new Wi-Fi 7 router: the Archer BE900 BE24000 with quad-band WiFi 7 GHz speeds of up to 24 Gbps and a brand-new design. The device transmits with twelve antennas, two 5 GHz bands, and the 6 GHz band, also offers two 10G WAN/LAN ports, four 2.5G ports, one USB port, one RJ45 port, and one RJ45/SFP+ combo port. It has been priced at $700.
