Canon SX 520 HS Review:

Canon PowerShot SX520 HS is a digital camera of Canon with 16-megapixel camera features a 1/2.3 Sensor. The camera comes with f/3.4-6.0, 35mm equivalent to 24-1.008 mm lens and long 42x optical zoom. Canon PowerShot SX 520 HS  image sensor combined with the DIGIC 4+ processor, which is helping to provide high quality image in low light conditions. Additionally, the lens has an intelligent IS system with eight modes optimized for different shooting situations.


In addition to still photography, Canon PowerShot SX 520 HS is capable of recording high-definition video at 1920x1080p that can be tracked using TFT-LCD display of 3.0 inches. There is also an autofocus system to ensure you are getting sharp images as quickly as possible. Canon sx520 hs also supporting automatic zoom lens or in addition to track the movement of an object when shooting at a maximum focal distance.

Several shooting modes are available, including Smart AUTO intelligently selecting the best settings based on the shooting situation. Creative shooting modes, image creation with adjustable tone and color art based on the original image. And, the automatic mode that records a few seconds of video with each photo you take and then automatically compile them into a single video.

The Canon SX520 HS camera combines the power of a 16-megapixel high CMOS image sensor with DIGIC 4+ Processor to create images with low noise and excellent sharpness right even in low light conditions. The processor gives an improved process approximately 60% compared to the previous generation cameras and allows video recording in full high definitions. Canon sx520 hs System also enables video quality were recorded up to 3200 ISO or up to 6400 ISO in low light mode.

42x Optical Zoom:


With a focal length equivalent to 35mm the 42x optical zoom lens featured on the Canon SX520 HS allows you to capture wide-angle to extreme telephoto. This allows you to make the whole scene with a wide angle to telephoto details.

Intelligent IS mode:

With eight different modes, Intelligent IS optical image stabilization in a variety of conditions. It automatically determines the best settings for the scene you’re shooting to provide the best form of stability. During capture still images it will switch between Normal IS for a wide range of camera movement, Panning IS, Macro (Hybrid) IS that make perfect picture’s shake or blur, or Tripod mode which turns the stable because it is not needed. Benefits from Dynamic IS video recording that is useful in wide focal length, Macro IS that corrects for movement while walking, as well as replacement change the vibration, power IS that compensates for movement at the telephoto focal length and the Active Light Tripod IS compensates for camera shake.


Zoom support frames feature will automatically zoom in or hold an object in the frame and focus using super-telephoto focal lengths.

Hybrid Auto mode records a few seconds of video with all the still pictures. Then it will automatically compile the content into a single HD video at the end of the day.

With the ability to record HD videos at a resolution of 1920x1080p at 30 fps, you can have full high-definition video to watch on your HDTV. The Canon sx520 hs also features a dedicated movie button and zoom while recording.
