At first glance, the brand-new Bowers & Wilkins Px7 S2e may appear remarkably similar to its predecessor, with identical specifications on the datasheet. However, the “evolved” version of these headphones now incorporates a new Digital Signal Processor (DSP) enriched with technologies from the high-end Bowers & Wilkins Px8 (approx. $659 / £599 on Amazon).

With this advanced signal processing, Bowers & Wilkins anticipates significant enhancements in audio quality. To fully leverage 24-bit music, these headphones support Qualcomm aptX HD and aptX Adaptive, in addition to AAC and SBC codecs. You can also connect these headphones via USB-C or AUX, with suitable cables included.

The new Bowers & Wilkins over ear noise cancelling headphones retains the dynamic biocellulose drivers with a 40-millimeter diameter from the previous model, as well as the six built-in microphones, four of which are dedicated to active noise cancellation (ANC).

For personalized sound adjustments, you can utilize the associated smartphone app’s equalizer.
