Blackmagic Design has introduced its best camera for film shooting: the Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K, boasting a full-frame 6K sensor, an impressive dynamic range of 13 stops, an L-Mount lens mount, and CFexpress card recording capabilities.

This 6K cinema camera packs a substantial 24 x 36mm 6048 x 4032 sensor, delivering cinematic-quality visuals within a compact, lightweight frame. It empowers users to capture shots with shallow depth of field or utilize uncropped anamorphic lenses to create authentic cinematic imagery.

The Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K is equipped with an L-mount, ensuring compatibility with a diverse range of lenses, both contemporary and vintage, from esteemed manufacturers such as Leica, Panasonic, and Sigma, thereby expanding creative horizons.

Featuring 13 stops of dynamic range and an ISO that reaches up to 25600, this camera delivers low-noise images regardless of lighting conditions. For those seeking higher frame rates, the sensor can be opened to achieve speeds of up to 100 fps at 2112 x 1184 in Super 16 resolution, or you can work in true 6:5 anamorphic format with significantly higher resolution.

The Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K incorporates a built-in CFexpress card writer and a USB-C expansion port, offering the convenience of direct recording to external flash drives or SSDs.
