Blackjet TX-1CXQ Thunderbolt 3 Card Reader and Blackjet TX-4DS Thunderbolt 3 Hub Dock

Atech Flash Technology, which owns the Blackjet brand, has announced new devices that should be appreciated by both photographers and videographers: the Blackjet TX-1CXQ Thunderbolt 3 Card Reader for CFexpress Type B and XQD memory cards and the Blackjet TX-4DS Thunderbolt 3 Hub Dock station with four compartments.

The new Thunderbolt 3 Hub Dock station can be configured by the user himself with the help of additional modules. Both devices have Thunderbolt 3 interface ports and provide data transfer rates of up to 40 Gb / s.

The new TX-1CXQ card reader can read CFexpress Type B and Sony XQD / XQD 2.0 memory cards, and connects to the user’s computer using the Thunderbolt 3 interface.

All this will allow transferring data from memory cards at speeds up to 1600 Mb / s in the case of CFexpress cards and 500 Mb / s for XQD cards. At the same time, the card reader is powered from the Thunderbolt 3 port. The device supports Windows 10 and macOS 10.12 and higher OS.

The Blackjet TX-4DS Thunderbolt 3 Hub Dock is a four-bay device. It can be installed as modules for working with memory cards, as well as modules with SSD-drives. Two Blackjet DX-1M modules for reading SSD memory type M.2 PCIe 3.0 x4, NVMe are included. Additional modules for reading memory cards of various formats are purchased separately.

The device has a Dual Thunderbolt 3 interface with support for speeds up to 40 Gb / s, and the second Thunderbolt 3 port supports serial connection of up to five Thunderbolt devices at once in a chain: it can be a monitor, external storage device or other devices. In addition, you can create archives of your files – the dock station supports RAID 0, RAID 1, JBOD.

And in order for you not to worry about the overheating of the device, it has a silent fan for efficient cooling. The Blackjet TX-4DS is powered by an external power supply that comes with the kit, measuring 120x145x155 mm.
