Together with the charging case, the runtime is doubled. Unfortunately, the Sony noise cancelling earbuds cannot be charged wirelessly.
As befits decent TWS in the upscale price segment, the new WF-SP800N noise cancelling headphones with microphone, the intensity can be adjusted in 20 levels using the associated Headphone app, for example, the bass can be controlled via one Amplify EQ.
The outside of the in-ears is touch-sensitive so that the volume can be controlled immediately or the Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa can be started. If you remove an earbud, the music playback is automatically paused.
Besides the touch control feature, Sony also introduced “Quick Attention” mode, an improvement that allows you to touch one side of the left earbud to reduce the volume of music, increasing the intensity of the external sound.
