Sony WF-SP800N Should be Best Noise Cancelling Headphones With IP55, 9hrs Battery

Sony has introduced new best noise cancelling headphones in the current price segment: Sony WF-SP800N, which has strong features and one of the largest batteries of all TWS. The waterproof, long-lasting Sony earbuds should be perfect for athletes, but the feature set also makes them interesting for everyone else.

The WF-SP800N noise cancelling headset is very interesting, they are IP55 certified and so perfectly protected against sweat and rain – Sony states that you can even clean them with running water after a training session. On the other hand, they offer one of the largest batteries of all TWS: According to the manufacturer, with active noise cancellation you can reach up to nine hours, and without ANC it is up to 13 hours. Together with the charging case, the runtime is doubled. Unfortunately, the Sony noise cancelling earbuds cannot be charged wirelessly.

As befits decent TWS in the upscale price segment, the new WF-SP800N noise cancelling headphones with microphone, the intensity can be adjusted in 20 levels using the associated Headphone app, for example, the bass can be controlled via one Amplify EQ.

The outside of the in-ears is touch-sensitive so that the volume can be controlled immediately or the Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa can be started. If you remove an earbud, the music playback is automatically paused.

Besides the touch control feature, Sony also introduced “Quick Attention” mode, an improvement that allows you to touch one side of the left earbud to reduce the volume of music, increasing the intensity of the external sound. Similar to the WH-1000XM3 (priced at $348 on Amazon and, Bhphoto), this improvement caters to your entertainment and communication needs.

The Sony WF-SP800N can now be pre-ordered in Black, Blue, and Orange colors at a price of $199.99 on Amazon.com store, and delivery starts from May 31, 2020.
