FEELWORLD, a well-known manufacturer of photo and video equipment, introduced the best video assist monitor S7. As you can guess from the name, the diagonal IPS screen is 7 inches, and there are 12G-SDI I/O ports on board, which is most likely indicated by the letter “S”.

The display has a resolution of 1920×1200 and a brightness of 1600 nits. In addition to 12G-SDI, there is also HDMI 2.0 with cross-conversion of signals. The case is made of aluminum, there is support for 3D LUT.

The company already has a 7-inch L7 monitor in a metal case, but it only has HDMI ports. The new FEELWORLD S7 has a 7-inch IPS touch display with a resolution of 1920×1200, 1200:1 contrast ratio, 160° viewing angle, 8-bit color (10-bit FRC), and 1600 nits brightness.

The Full HD field monitor rear panel features 12G-SDI, 3G-SDI, and HDMI 2.0 interfaces, and the S7 can support video signals up to 4K60p resolution. Moreover, the device can cross-convert SDI/HDMI signals in both directions, which will be an excellent bonus for working in conjunction with various professional equipment.

The device allows users to save up to 52 custom 3D LUTs into its memory. Users can also transfer the image from the LUT through the HDMI and SDI outputs. It presents all monitoring tools, such as vectorscope, histogram, focus peaking, anamorphic compression, false color, grids, and more.

The case’s maximum power consumption is approximately 16W. It features a dual Sony NP-F battery plate attached to the case, allowing for the separate purchase of a similar V-mount plate. The monitor also includes a 7-24V DC input for power from the V-mount and D-Tap cable.
